The 3rd Annual Book-A-Day Challenge
This is a challenge sent out by the author of The Book Whisperer. I started following her blog after Monica and Wendi brainwashed me into reading it. A good read and definitely inspiring for teachers, even those of us who teach mathematics.
So I started my first ever book-a-day challenge as of June 1. I have kept a list of the books and as I get time I will post the list a few at a time (hopefully by the week). My summer classes have kept me pretty busy and I will only rely on a picture book if I get in a serious time crunch. After classes are finished in July I will hopefully post more about the books I am reading and the journey of picking them, and just because I am who I am I will do a little amateur data collection on the types of books I read. If you have any ideas, send them my way. Wish me luck!
