It was interesting creating the map of literacy, I chose to use mindmeister and I was a little frustrated with the connecting arrows functions and it made me sort of insane. I wanted to be able to draw arrows both directions,but it would only allow me to go one direction, which is very limiting and not at all the way information flows in todays literacy model. Information flows both up and down the food chain with the consumers of information turning right around and changing and creating the information that is out there. I might spend some more time test driving some of the other choices, because I'm not sure my students would like this brainstorming software as much as some of the others.
